Post Well.. here I am.. again..sort of
I'm back.

..okay, this will need an explanation ;)

Until October 6th last years everything wen't along just fine, I had a Panzer III Ausf. G and a Panzer II Ausf.D1 (and I will finish this one in it's thread as soon as I have time) on the workbench, a couple of very nice presents (I will post them here..along with the christmas presents;)) and a nice birthday dinner.

Then, for a still not exactly defined reason, while getting out of bed I must have slipped, maybe a lack of iron in my blood, maybe a slight feeling of dizziness, knocked my head (yes, the very head I knocked against a lorry in grand style and to a near death experince and all that good stuff three years ago..not as if I had more than one..head that is..) against the nightstand, as evidenced by the rather impressive blood smear the paramedics found, and.. where am I going with this sentence again.. :? ah.. and I found myself surrounded by paramedics and totally incapable of coherent speech, despite beeing fully capable of coherent thought . Of all the scary stuff I had happen to me over the last three years this was one of the more disconcerting events.
Of course the whole near-death-and-actually-dead-for-a-couple-of-seconds-and-having-strange-memories-thing still beats it, but this is something for another thread should I feel the need to discuss it  .
Luckily it didn't last and I had already regained speech (oh and, important for our little "scene", control of my bloody right hand which was completely limp) when I was in the ambulance.

Long story short: I have yet to regain complete sensorial control of the fingers of my right hand, though motor function is back at least, and I still don't really know what caused it, probably a hard knock against my not precisely intact left cranium is the cause.
I'm busy having it checked out. In the meantime university (oh and the cats..never forget the cats  ) ate much of my time and the rest of potential modelling acivity was effectivly crippled by my fear of ..well.. beeing crippled  .

Anyway... I think I should try and build something again.. after all I am capable of handwriting (just as ugly as usual, nothing new) so it should not pose a problem.

Sorry for the "dropping of the radar" manouvre everyone! .

Best regards

Raoul G. Kunz

Ouch. Good to see you're back and on the road to recovery. Seems to be a common theme. One of my staff is off at the moment after knocking himself senseless  Nothing as dramatic as your though

Raoul, yikes! That is quite a story. Glad to hear you are on the mend and I am very happy to see that your sense of humor wasn't affected in any way. :)

Here I was thinking you we're just busy with university papers and lectures, not realising that something so serious had happened

It's good to hear you are on the mend :D

You could always start with a StuG? Something you know well ;)
