Just saw this at Luckymodel. It's a shame it's only in 1/72 scale :(

At the current rate at which German softskins are released it is probably only a matter of time before someone does one of these buses in 1/35 :)

Oh yeah, I've seen pictures of buses like these carrying troops east bound for lack of proper transport, would make a cool diorama, like you say in 1/35th.

The "good" thing is, virtually all larger civilian motor vehicles were confiscated at the outbreak of the war, so pretty much everything built during the 1930's would eventually end up in military service. I've even seen a Mercedes roadster (basically a racing car) as a unit commander's personal staff car... (3rd picture on this page).

Hi Gang
I've got to second Phillip and his coming soon for German trucks and transport, in my search for a particular truck, there is an amazing selection of interwar trucks at Wespe models not cheap but literally dozens of them in 1:35 too :D
Maybe they will arrive in cheaper plastic as the resin is still pricy :(

Buses too, are Aladdin's cave :D

I wouldn't mind a 1/35th WWII London Routemaster to go with the Policeman and a dio idea. I don't suppose anybody knows of one?
