Post Re: Show us yer workbench
Hi Guys - I have wanted to build a real paint rack for some time now and found this blog which has helped with thought and direction. Below are some pics of my final product which kept me busy over two weekends and is made from Pine and stained with Walnut Wood Stain. I was pretty excited to move my paints out of draws and boxes and to finally have some form of order all at an easy reach. The shelves are also adjustable with ample room below for storing larger tools and supplies etc.

Michael-
that is a nice set-up. I have my paints pushed to the corners of a desk...

I need to make something similar.

It's lovely! My basement shop gets a clean-up like that about once annually. The other 363 days of the year it resembles tornado damage.

Hello Michael
That's a very nice looking set of shelves you've made.
Well Done.

Nice been thinking of a rack myself, but worry that its just another thing taking up space on the bench which I feel is undersized to start with.

Some of you may have seen pictures of my "man cave" before as I posted some up when I built it.

This is how it looks most days, no tidy up before the photos as this is the reality of how it looks when I'm working.

Yup, I recognise that scenario
How order ever comes from this is a miracle :?

Alex, is that cloth or paper that you use as a backdrop?
