 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
Hi Woody, I've found a huge variation between the cost of them at that size. Where did you get yours?

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
That's around £20. It's about the same as they go for here. Years ago when I was gainfully employed I used to buy a new one every couple of months, and I found a place in the UK that sold them for £11. As susual though, when I need a cheap one, I can't find the place I used to get them from! Thanks Woody! Vinnie

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
I've seen the larger ones here for around $60 - $70 too. I have also seen some middle sized ones for about $8, but you get what you pay for, they warp and when cut, they stay cut! Woody...

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
These arrived recently: Excellent service from site sponsors Armour Models who supplied the sand tracks and quick wheel masks and Lucky Model who managed to get the mopeds to me in under a week! Cheers, Ian

Justin Wooding wrote: Those Sand Channels, are the same as the old PSP plates used for runways and such? I'm not sure -- you normally see these on the sides of the Tamiya Pink Panther or LRDG vehicles. You can see a slightly better image of them at the Armour Models site here. Vinnie Branigan wrote: Aw! You have to blog those Mopeds Ian! They look amazing! They are really nice little models with etch for the spokes ( ), lots of details and a couple of nice looking decals. I will be blogging one in the not too distant future -- they are going to feature in a modern-day Iraq diorama I've been planning for quite a while now. Just need to clear some more of my shelf of shame and then I'll get on with it! Cheers, Ian
