Chris, i couldn't agree more! The magnified proportions of the photo don't help, but yes the scribing is a little over done. I think it won't be so noticeable with the black Panzer uniform? I hope.... :?

Vinnie, thanks mate. Thanks for the info on the armoured glass. That makes sense. That older type clear glass did have a greenish tinge if it was thick. Maybe i'll paint it green on the inside then?

I was going to prime some more of this build tonight, but seeing as the local Toyworld is out of Tamiya Primer :( and won't be restocked for two weeks :x i guess it's not going to happen so soon

Hopefully the Tank Museum at work has a tin or two :)

Anybody have a good substitute for Tamiya Spray Surface Primer? It really is my favourite primer, but it goes so quick!... :P

Woody,

The new formula Vallejo surface primers are simply the best. They do an entire range of colours, and they really are fantastic. I'm about to wirte a review on them. Check them out.

Try the light ghost grey....as a primer it shouldn't make that much of a difference?

Woody

Gary has a great idea for the green armoured glass, just green food colouring painted on the reverse, in layers, until it has the right hue. Great fix and really cheap too.
