 British battledress
I'm stuck on what colour to paint battledress. The colour I used looked ok on the first coat while the tan plastic was showing through but now looks too green. Any suggestions that point me in the right direction would be a great help.

Chris, for the Resicast figures I painted I used a custom mix of Vallejo...but I don't know how big a range you have?

 Re: British battledress
It's a shame I didn't make a note of it at the time, but as far as I can remember I think I used 70805 German Orange mixed with 70983 Flat Earth. If you play around with drops of those two you shuld get an approximation and then adjust to suit?

 Re: British battledress
Chris Vallejo Model Colour Green Brown 879 is acceptable and less "rich" than English Uniform 921. The Andrea English Uniform is also "quieter". It is said (For what its worth) that the Canadian uniform was a greener shade of "english Uniform" (if that makes sense)

 Re: British battledress
Thanks guys. I used Tamiya Flat Earth mixed with some Khaki in the end. It'll do especially as it means not having to order any paint.

 Re: British battledress
Chris, I used Yellow Ochre and Black which gave a good approximation. That said when you take into account fading and dirt and the fact that most of the old soldiers (really old who wore this kit) said it was almost impossible to get a set with matching trousers and jacket, it gives quite a range of latitude when painting.
