The black plastic wheels in the Zvezda kit are actually solid and extremely hard Steve. They Might be vinyl...but it's the hardest vinyl I've ever seen.

The trouble for me with the (non styrene) plastic tires that I have seen is that the mold parting lines are tough to shave off.

This rubber has marks KI - 126 (the Kirov factory) is the most modern rubber for BTR. It is wider than early rubber. Therefore it acts on each side for limits BTR. These wheels did under original factory drawings. Here so they look on BTR.
