Post First job rejection of the year
Yep, within an hour of the "business" year starting I have had my first job rejection, a record even by my standards  Oh well

Sorry to hear that Chris. Look at it this way though, if they aren't smart enough to figure out they should hire you, you probably don't want to work for them anyway. :D

It wouldn't bother me too much but they made me drive to Bielefeld, 40 minutes away to tell me and they could also just as easily have told me between Christmas and New Year. A little miffed to put it mildly.

Sorry to hear that Chris.
I'd say tough time of year to be job hunting- but has there been a good time lately?

40 minute drive to be turned down? That is BS!

I have to say Chris that they have added insult to injury making you drive all that way for a refusal. Tis a sign of the times as you are lucky to get an answer either way from some companies. Good luck finding work Im sure you wont have long to wait :)

Hello Chris,

That's a bummer! It just wasn't meant to be. Better luck on the next one then :)

That's the good thing about building a stash when you can. When times are a bit tough, there is something to do. Modeling beats sitting in front of the TV all day ;)
