Post Arminius at Kalkriese Hill -Teutoburg Forest
Inspired by Chris' feature of Herman the German I thought I'd get this kit by The Time Machine entitled "At the Altars Of Donar". It is Arminius in the Teutoburg Forest. I assume that is Varus on the left after Arminius killed him.
Not sure when I'll start painting as I'm finishing up a Viking piece. Pam

They are resin 54mm except Arminius' sword arm which is white metal plus his shield.

I have glued and primed them but may need to clean up a little more.

The base with a rock that the top half come separate and glued on plus the one Romans' leg that is bent is a separate piece. It is supposed to be water around the lower front section with 2 cattails to glue in on the lower left.

Hi Pam

It is certainly an exercise in painting, well beyond my skills :( but an interesting study and a well presented piece. It would be good to see your interpretation, as it does lend itself to some measure of personalization of the final finish.

Happy painting

Interesting piece Pam, it looks like it will be a challenge to paint. I'll be looking out for it when you do.
