Re: REVIEW: CAMMETT - EMC Mines for S-100 Schnellboot
Great pictures. Does anyone know what has happened to Cammett. I have tried contacting them for detail kits for my Italeri s100 Schnellboot, but no response. None of the model retailers have stock left either, I'm also looking for a Flak38 2cm quad set for modifying the rear armament! Any help or info appreciated Regards Gregg

Hi Gregg, I believe that Cammett have stopped trading (though I keep hearing rumours that they have started doing some model railway stuff now). I think that the main person at Cammett (whos name I can't recall) has been unwell for a while and couldn't keep the business going. Little Cars have taken over sale of some stuff (such as the hold and fold) but I don't know what happened to items such as these mines. Cheers, Ian

Cheers, Ian Hi Ian, I have been in contact with Robin Carpenter of Cammett. Apparantly he has sold all his moulds to a company called Mastercasters. They are producing some sets but not the mines (well not in the catalogue) I have ordered a couple of items (skullcap bridge & Oval Dinghy) Just waiting to see if to same standard as cammett. Regards Gregg

I could use a set or two of those mines myself. If anyone knows who stock any at the moment it would be of great help..
