 Re: Interesting Photo Thread
The first one I found most interesting. We never seem to put enough timber on our rubble in dioramas...yet it makes sense to use more. The roof under the slate had al those rafters, and the lot usually ended up on top of the rubble, whilst the slates would have fallen through. Thanks for posting Phil. Vinnie

 Re: Interesting Photo Thread
I was doing some research for weathering the tracks on my T-34. I came across this interesting picture. It apparently is a T-34/85 in Serbia. Is this an attempt at camo, spaced armor or both? I am going with the look of these tracks by the way. Dennis

I don't see anything wrong with searching for your feminine side whilst in the heat of battle.... Vinnie

 Re: Interesting Photo Thread
Hey Dennis- from what I understand the rubber sheeting are pieces conveyor belts and they were intended as spaced armor. Be careful searching for Serbian and Croat Armor by the way.... I found one site full of great pics of T-34/85's and about halfway down the page was a naked woman posed on the turret! No harm done- but I was glad I wasn't scanning that at work! Sorry Boss.... Steve

 Re: Interesting Photo Thread
I remember seeing an article in a magazine a while back with a 1/35 scale T-34 and rubber stand off armour. Wonder how (in)effective it was Gary

Wonder how (in)effective it was Gary If you look at the pic- you can see tires providing the "stand-off" feature on the turret. I believe the rubber would probably pre-detonate an RPG round, but otherwise probably not very effective. Steve
