 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
Over the last few months I have been having a small change of direction, particularly in the scale department.......... Yup 1/72 or there abouts My LHS was having a bit of a 72 clear out, rude not too!! I don't think 1/35 is on my shopping list for a while as space is running out, also there are some very cool armoured trains that are demanding my attention, and the cost is a lot more realistic to enable me to model a variety of nations.

Nice little haul there Vlad! We need more 1/72nd scale modellers, all the stuff I get to review in that scale tends to hang around my loft a bit! Vinnie

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
I have to say Vinnie, the trumpeter kits look far nicer than the 35th brothers, and in researching the scale to see if it appealed I was pleasantly surprised to see just how much was available on the market, some of which you just know is never gonna appear in 35th. loving it so far

Nice haul Vlad! Should be an interesting change because as you say, there is a lot more subjects to choose from! And it's easier to include any sort of aircraft into a diorama if you want to Woody...

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
I've had a couple of those Bastion 35 kits...I wasn't that impressed with their quality and ended up replaceing a lot of the wood for my own pieces, so you may have your work cut out for you there Evgenij!

Vinnie, I think that I will surprise you, the fact that I managed to do with the tree, but it will be next job.

 Re: Latest Acquisitions Thread
Surprise surprise! I bought a StuG - it may be the DX07 Bose StuG but it will end up as the Bodo Spranz StuG, simply because I still have the specific Spranz parts here and the Bose StuG would need, among other things, a complete set of skirts as well as a ton of corrections. I actually bought it because for one reason or the other it's the cheapest early type Ausf. G DML StuG there is... don't ask me why, shouldn't it be something really special => a Panzer Art casemate for the lazy => I suppose it will end up on a late early type StuG G with the old superstructure but already with 80mm frontal armour... I also ordered the next one in the Motorbuch reissue of the great Spielberger-Doyle series (looks way better than the old ones, those had horribly colourful covers..)=> (nevermind Sueton and Cassius Dio, I forgot to put them out of the way.. not that my bed makes for a greatly improved background ) Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
