Post AFV Club Shot Kal 1973
Hi All,

I am trying to get a hold of the AFV Club Shot Kal 1973 Kit (Modified Centurion). Kit Number 35124. I have not had much luck finding it online at the shops I usually use as well as the ones that advertise on this site. If you have one in your stash that you are will to part with please let me know?

Regards,

Rod

Hi Rod,
On your side of the pond, Discountmodels-Michigan have it listed at $36.
You could phone to make sure it's actually in stock? Here:

Thanks Grant, I have contacted them and they don,t have any in stock and don't think they would be able to get one.

The Kit shows as being discontinued on the HLJ site. So unless a shop has old stock I don't think I'll be able to get one from a retailer. I have checked the shops that advertise here as well as Hobby Easy, Hobby Link Japan, Sprue Brothers, Squadron, and Great Models.

So if anyone out there has one they are willing to part with please PM me.

Regards,

Rod

Hello Rod,

I was just looking at some stuff on the Lucky Model site over on the right  and they show kit number 35159. I know it's not exactly the one you were looking for but it is an IDF Shot. Not sure if it's any help?

Thanks Woody, but no kit 35159 is for the early version used by the IDF with either the 20lber or 105 but with the original engine, kit 35124 has the M60 engine deck.

No luck yet Vinnie the only one I found on e-bay was from a UK seller that wanted 50 plus pounds plus shipping. I was looking to spend about $50 US all in, or I would trade for a kit that retails for about the same price. I have the New Legends conversion for the Later Shot-kal with the Blazer armor didn't think I would have this much trouble tracking down the base kit.

Thanks for the tip Shaun I usually try and stay away from e-bay. I just can't stand getting sniped at the last minute.

Thanks Woody, but it is also a conversion kit for the AFV Club 35124 kit. Wish I would have seen this before I bought the Legends 1982 Conversion looks very good.

With Legends and defmodel releasing a conversion kit for the AFV Club Shot Kal kit I hope AFV Club puts it back in production.

Regards,
Rod
