 Resin question
I have a couple of resin sets that didn't come out well with painting... I know you can strip acrylic paint from styrene with windex but what about resin? Does anyone know?

 Re: Resin question
Try it. You won't damage the resin. You might be damaging your keyboard with all those question marks though. I've edited your post. Vinnie

 Re: Resin question
Jim- Vinnie is correct!!!!!!!!!! In my experience, any stripper you would use on plastic will not harm resin. They are very similar in most properties with two exceptions. Resin is more brittle, and when you sand resin it is more likely to become airborne. Steve

Vinnie Branigan wrote: What? It includes an anti-gravitic property too? Vinnie In order to reduce the shipping costs- just before the resin cures I inject Helium at extremely high pressure. So my cast items are extremely light. Other manufacturers achieve similar results but I am not familiar with their production processes. Steve

"purely for scientific curiosity"! ...and I stick to my statement. They will not harm resin- but they will do a number on spandex. I know Jim and I am betting he doesn't have any spandex. Steve
