It's good to see somebody willing to have a go at a new painting technique, hope you find it as productive and enjoyable as I do. I would like to see how you get on. But tell me, is your wife not impressed by your painting? As far as my work goes I've had a little painting frenzy and finished off the second figure of the first pair without providing progress shots. This is mainly due to the fact that his trousers and jacket are field grey and are the same as the jacket on the first figure and I was too keen to get on with him. The leather jacket is also going to be the same technique as the one on one of the Russians and I will show progress pictures when I paint that figure. Here are the finished pictures. Alex.

(She also says the same when our four year old draws a picture of a cat.) When I showed her your figure she remarked, "Jesus Christ. It looks like a tiny little man. But yours are good too dear."

 Re: Wet Blending Acrylics
A quick update. This morning I have painted Wittman's face, cap, headphones and collar. The face is entirely done in Jo Sonja acrylics and wet blended using the same techniques detailed in earlier posts. I made up my own flesh mix using titanium white, raw sienna, cadmium orange, hookers green, burnt umber, burngundy and storm blue. In the next post I will show how the black leather jacket is painted. Alex.
