 Re: Tasca Jumbo
Stewart- the Jumbo is a cool looking vehicle! This blog and some of the others I have seen lately are sparking an interest in The Battle of the Bulge for me.
Nice work!

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
Stewart, Nice work, those transfers look really good and they add a lot of personality to the Jumbo . Steve Reid wrote: Stewart- the Jumbo is a cool looking vehicle! This blog and some of the others I have seen lately are sparking an interest in The Battle of the Bulge for me.

Steve Steve, I didn't know there were any T-34s at the Battle of the Bulge? Matt ...and the picture of a T-34 in German service in the Ardennes will be posted in 5...4...3...2...

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
Oh no here come the play ground bullies... Vinnie and Matt- the boys from the wrong side of the Balkenkreuz! The Russains used Shermans boys. Surely you can look that up? Steve

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
I'm fairly certain the T-34/76 that used to be at Aberdeen Proving Grounds was captured by the US Army in France. Close enough to the Ardennes Philipp

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
I was about to ask if any T34's were used in action on the Western Front?

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
There was a German unit in Northern Italy using a lot of captured equipment.
I have a pic somewhere of a T-34/76 knocked out in Italy.
They were everywhere- but Shermans were even more widely spread.

Getting there..!
Looks good, and I am quite jealous of those Yanks figures! Do you know if they are available still?

 Re: Tasca Jumbo
Rob, Frerik, thanks for you comments
Frerik, I bought the Yanks figures from Halifax modellers world via ebay, not sure if they are still available as Dave shows no stock on his website but I am sure a quick call or email will answer any questions as the service is always first class.
