 Re: More DRAGON NEWS...
I'll be interested to see how much they have reworked the Firefly Either way I'll probably get it if the prices stay around the thirty euro mark for an Orange box. Chris

 Re: More DRAGON NEWS...
Some great models coming up. That SdKfz 7/1 sure does look sexy I'm a little curious about the Value Pack Stug III Ausf. E. What is the original kit it is based on? I've been looking for a long time for an E and never found one?

 Re: More DRAGON NEWS...
Oh.. My.. God.. Dragon do seem to want me to sell my soul for all these new kits they're bringing out...one really good thing about the sdkfz7/1's release, hopefully there will be a standalone flakvierling not too far behind...

 Re: More DRAGON NEWS...
I am glad to see DML looking to create more than another Sherman or StuG. The US Half Track situation has been in need of a kit for MANY years, and I am glad to see the M3 version is still on the board. There has also been a lack of WWII, US towed subject, including artillery. The Italeri version if the 105mm has been difficult to find in the states, so I am hoping the Dragon version will be easy to find and easy to build.
I am also happy to hear about the Orange Box series. When I was in retail, the first DML kits were fine by me. As Dragon made corrections, and other versions, the older kits disappeared. If the replacements were not so much more expensive, this would not be a big deal, however this was not the case. As much as I look forward to the new US Half Tracks, I still seek out the older Tamiya kits because of their price. I have to think the older molds are paid for, so that any kits sold from those molds are near 100% profitable.
One of the big issues of bringing younger people into this hobby is the price. I hope the Orange Box series helps to bring young modelers "into the fold".
Thanks enough ranting for now. Mark L.
