 Re: Italeri M101 105mm Howitzer
Thanks Gary. I think you may be right. There has been a couple of other parts that have come loose for no reason. Thanks Ian, that's right, nothing that can't be fixed! This should be finished tonight apart from the base Woody...

 Re: Italeri M101 105mm Howitzer
Hello chaps, Some more pics... I have given the gun a dry brush of light grey as i wanted to give it a faded effect from a tropical environment. Also dirtied up the tyres. I will add more dirt once it is on the base so as to blend the gun into the ground. I should add some streaking from the rivets and such. Not sure if i want to add any chipping effects to this. Any suggestions for final weathering please? Just noticed i haven't done the inside of the barrel yet. Still have to fix the crack in the gun cradle too Woody...

Wow Woody That looks Great. The light dry brushing has realy lifted the effect of ageing. Just Love that camo scheme.

Looking really good Woody. Like the weathering on the tyres.

I too, wouldn't do anything more to this apart from the things you've mentioned Woody? Looks good! Vinnie

Wow Woody looks great, I agree with Alek though, a few small scratches, I mean come on nothing survives being handled by squaddies unscathed, no matter how careful they try to be. Mind you don't want to spoil that great cammo!
